From stage and field to climate communications

I am currently Senior Communications Officer at the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD), where I lead visual storytelling for climate research, adaptation, and community resilience. My work spans case studies, photo stories, training reports, and documentary films , including publications on garment-sector climate adaptation and urban heat resilience across Bangladesh.

Before ICCCAD, I spent several years with Helen Keller International on USAID-funded SAPLING and BANI projects in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. There I produced 40+ field documentation stories and 20+ educational videos in Bengali, Marma, and other local languages , covering agriculture, nutrition, indigenous youth empowerment, and community health for audiences who rarely see themselves reflected in mainstream media.

Alongside my development work, I founded Photo Drawer, where I lead a team delivering wedding photography, brand campaigns, food photography, and commercial visual content for NGOs, brands, and private clients across Bangladesh.

My creative roots run deep in theatre and dramatics from the University of Chittagong , a foundation that shapes how I direct attention, frame emotion, and build narrative whether on stage, on location, or behind an editing timeline. That blend of performance and documentation has also brought my work into national press, including features in The Daily Star and Kaler Kantho.

Let's build something meaningful together.
